Timo Roettger is a Professor of General Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies, University of Oslo, since 2022. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor (2020-2021), Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Osnabrück (2020), Northwestern University (2018-2019), and the University of Cologne (2016-2017). His academic journey includes a PhD in Phonetics from the University of Cologne in 2016.
