Dr. hab. Lidiya Dubis serves as Professor in the Department of Landscape Shaping and Design at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), operating within the Institute of Mathematics, Informatics and Landscape Architecture under the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences. Her research centers on landscape architecture and spatial development, investigating how terrain morphology and geodiversity shape urban-rural planning. She examines tourism potential in protected areas, particularly Ukraine-Poland border regions, with emphasis on geotourism infrastructure and sustainable development. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates geomorphological analysis with practical spatial planning applications across Carpathian and Polesie ecosystems.
