Roland N. Horne is the Thomas Davies Barrow Professor of Earth Sciences at Stanford University and a Senior Fellow at the Precourt Institute for Energy. He holds degrees from the University of Auckland (BE 1972, PhD 1975, DSc 1986), all in Engineering Science. His research focuses on geothermal energy, reservoir engineering, and fracture mechanics, with notable contributions to well test interpretation, production optimization, and fractured reservoir analysis.
