Prof. Agricola Eustachio is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, and Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at San Raffaele Hospital. His roles include clinical cardiology, research leadership, and academic teaching in cardiology programs. Education: MD (1996) and Cardiology specialization (2000) from the University of Siena. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Erasmus MC Rotterdam (2002) and holds editorial roles in major journals like European Heart Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging and International Journal of Cardiology. Research focuses on echocardiography innovation (3D, stress echo, fusion imaging), valvular heart disease (mitral/tricuspid repair), and structural heart interventions. He leads clinical trials and strategic projects in these areas. Awards include the 2002 Young Investigator Award (EUROECHO) and Best Poster/oral communication honors in 1999. Teaching: Supervises diploma theses in cardiology across multiple Italian universities. Editorial roles include associate editorships in Cardiovascular Ultrasound and International Journal of Cardiology.
