Nina Ferrigno is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Washington University in St. Louis, where she teaches applied piano. She holds affiliations with both Washington University and Webster University, maintaining a dual teaching role while actively performing as a collaborative artist. Her primary performance venue is St. Louis, where she co-founded and directs the Missouri Chamber Music Festival established in 2010. Educated at the New England Conservatory of Music with distinction in performance, Ferrigno specializes in contemporary classical music. She is a principal keyboardist with major orchestras including the St. Louis Symphony, Boston Symphony, and Chicago Symphony. Her discography includes recordings for BMOP Sound, Bridge Records, and Arsis Audio, notable for interpretations of works by composers like Bernard Rands and Christopher Stark. Research interests focus on expanding classical music's reach through new commissions, collaborating with living composers such as James Lee III, Derek Bermel, and Amy Beth Kirsten.
