Associate Professor Mia Mahmudur Rahim is a faculty member in the School of Law at the University of New England (UNE) , Australia, where he joined in July 2019. He has previously held academic positions at the University of South Australia, Macquarie University, and Queensland University of Technology. Before transitioning to academia, he served as a Judge in Bangladesh and worked with the Bangladesh Law Commission and the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
