Dr. Patricia Conrod is a Professor of Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal and holds the Canada Research Chair in Mental Health and Prevention . She leads the Venture Lab at CHU Sainte-Justine, focusing on adolescent brain development, substance use disorders, and mental health prevention strategies. Her research spans neuroimaging, personality-targeted interventions, and multimodal studies of cannabis effects. Dr. Conrod's PreVenture Program has trained global professionals and demonstrated 35% annual reduction in substance use disorders through personality-targeted interventions. Current initiatives include adapting programs for university students ( UniVenture ) and digital health applications ( DigiVenture ).
