Pang James is an Associate Professor (Practice Track) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), serving as Co-Director of the NUS Business Analytics Centre. His roles include leading the Healthcare Analytics vertical in NUS's MSBA program, collaborating with institutions like SingHealth and Microsoft, and advising IBM's Public Sector division. He holds a PhD from NUS-MIT Alliance and has extensive industry experience at IBM, Motorola, and Micron Technology. Education: PhD in Manufacturing Systems & Technology (NUS-MIT, 2006), M.Eng (Zhejiang University, 2002), B.Eng (Zhejiang University, 1999). Professional certifications include Open Group Master Certified Architect and IBM Certified Architect. Research focuses on supply chain analytics, healthcare optimization, and big data systems. He has led over 20 major industry projects including Singapore's National Electronic Health Record system and DHL's global logistics cloud. Awards include IBM's Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (2011) and multiple invention awards. Teaching includes graduate courses on Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence at NUS. He actively participates in industry advisory boards and has authored 16+ publications covering topics like cognitive computing, cloud architectures, and AR applications in manufacturing.
