Adela del Rio Ortega

Adela del Rio Ortega is a Full Professor at the University of Seville's Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering, working in the Languages and Computer Systems department. She leads research in the INGENIERÍA DEL SOFTWARE APLICADA (ISA) group and has been Principal Investigator in multiple national and EU projects like S-CUBE and RISE_BPM. Her work focuses on bridging business and IT through process performance measurement, decision management systems, and service-oriented architectures.

She has co-authored books such as 'Desarrollo de Software Guiado por el Negocio' (2012) and developed tools like PPINOT for process performance indicator management. Her research interests include process variability analysis, SLA definitions for outsourcing, and dashboard generation for process analytics. She actively participates in major conferences like Business Process Management and CAiSE, serving as Senior PC member since 2019.
