Sharon Simmons is a Professor of Computer Science at James Madison University (JMU), where she has served since 2010. Previously, she held academic positions at the University of West Florida (2001–2010) and the University of West Georgia (1997–2001). She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The College of William and Mary (1999), an M.S. (1991), and a B.S. (1984) in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
