Jane Barlow is a Professor of Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, University of Oxford, and Deputy Head of Department (on sabbatical 2025–26). She leads the national evaluation of the A Better Start program and collaborates with organizations like the NSPCC. Her role includes supervision of DPhil students at St Hilda's College and contributions to the Centre for Evidence-Based Intervention.
