Professor Melissa MacAlpin is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Felician University's Art Department, part of the School of Arts & Sciences. She has held this position since Fall 2004. Her academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Book Arts/Printmaking from the University of the Arts (2001) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Rutgers University (1998).
Her research focuses on metaphorical content in objects and shared human experiences through narratives. She explores how stories and objects interconnect, emphasizing their transformation over time.
