Dr. Pradeep Dheerendra is an Affiliate Researcher at the University of Glasgow's School of Psychology & Neuroscience. His work focuses on identifying neural signatures of auditory-predictive processing in schizophrenia using multi-modal imaging approaches. His research integrates EEG, fMRI, and neurophysiological techniques to study auditory perception, neural oscillations, and cognitive dysfunction in psychiatric conditions. Key research interests include auditory object perception, temporal processing in auditory cortex, and the neural mechanisms underlying misophonia. He collaborates with experts in psychiatry, neuroscience, and clinical neuroimaging to advance understanding of predictive coding deficits in psychosis and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Recent publications highlight his contributions to studies on mismatch negativity responses in psychosis, entrainment of neural oscillations during language processing, and the representation of time windows in primate auditory systems. His work bridges basic neuroscience with clinical applications, emphasizing translational research. Dr. Dheerendra is supervised by Prof. Peter Uhlhaas in schizophrenia neuroimaging research. He maintains an active lab website at www.pradeepd.com and holds an ORCID: 0000-0002-1575-154X .
