He leads clinical and laboratory research on metastatic prostate cancer, focusing on surgical interventions and treatment resistance mechanisms. His clinical work includes over 2,400 robotic prostatectomies, emphasizing minimally invasive approaches. He is Principal Investigator of the SIMCAP trial evaluating cytoreductive prostatectomy in metastatic cases. Research interests include androgen receptor degradation via PROTAC technology. He holds an MD, PhD in Tumor Cell Biology, and an MBA in Finance. Active in education, he mentors trainees and improves urology residency programs. Clinical affiliations include Yale Medicine with locations in New Haven and beyond. Educations: MD (Northwestern 1997), PhD (Northwestern 1996), MBA (Wharton 2017) Research Labs: Cancer Signaling Networks at Yale Cancer Center Labs/Teams: Urologic Oncology Group, Prostate & Urologic Cancers Program Grants: Leading multi-institutional clinical trials Key collaborations include work with Michael Leapman, Preston Sprenkle, and Joshua Sterling. His work bridges surgery and molecular mechanisms to improve outcomes for advanced prostate cancer patients.
