Dr. David Stewart Sinclair serves as Clinical Professor in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Neurosurgery within McGill University's Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, based at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital). He directs the Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Fellowship program in McGill's Faculty of Medicine and maintains active clinical practice in stroke and vascular neurosurgery.
His educational journey features:
- Postgraduate training in marine biology, medical epidemiology, and flight medicine
- Service as Canadian Navy medical officer and UN peacekeeping mission physician in the Middle East
- Two years of family medicine practice in rural Nova Scotia
