M. Chad Wallis is a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology at the University of Utah and Chief of Pediatric Urology at Primary Children’s Hospital. He specializes in pediatric urology, with a focus on kidney stone disease, minimally invasive surgery, endourology, and reconstructive urology. Dr. Wallis serves on the Pediatric Kidney Transplant Selection Committee and directs urologic services for the Primary Children’s Colorectal Center since 2011. He has led the Pediatric Urology Fellowship program since 2016. Education: B.A. in Humanities from Brigham Young University M.D. from The Ohio State University College of Medicine General Surgery Internship, Urology Residency, and Pediatric Urology Fellowship at Ohio State and The Hospital for Sick Children Research interests include neurogenic bladder management in spina bifida patients, urinary tract infections, reconstructive surgery, and urodynamic studies. His publications span topics like bladder hostility, hydronephrosis, and innovative surgical techniques for congenital anomalies. Dr. Wallis's recent articles highlight trends in spina bifida urinary health, minimally invasive techniques , and reconstructive urology . He has contributed to clinical guidelines and interdisciplinary decision tools.
