John Gustafson

John Gustafson is a Professor and Department Head of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Oklahoma State University. He is affiliated with the Institute for Biosecurity & Microbial Forensics and conducts research on bacterial pathogenesis, antibiotic resistance mechanisms, and microbial ecology. His work focuses on Staphylococcus aureus and Elizabethkingia species, utilizing transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic approaches.
