Pilar Arnaiz Sánchez is a Full Professor at the University of Murcia's Faculty of Education, leading the Department of Didactics and School Organization. She holds a PhD in Education (1986) and has dedicated her career to inclusive education, special educational needs, and teacher training. She founded and leads the research group 'Inclusive Education: A School for All' since 1995, focusing on educational inclusion, institutional improvement, and equity. Administrative Roles: Former Vice-Rector for Innovation (2006–2011), Coordinator of Doctoral Studies in Education (2015–2016), and ANEP/Economy Ministry Education Area Coordinator (2013–2016). Evaluation Roles: Member of Spain's National Research Evaluation Commission (CNEAI) and Andalusian Social Sciences Evaluation Commission. Her research emphasizes overcoming barriers to inclusion through policy analysis, classroom practices, and stakeholder collaboration. She has led numerous national and EU-funded projects, producing over 100 publications on inclusive education, self-evaluation frameworks, and teacher training strategies. Notable contributions include studies on specialized classrooms (aulas abiertas), SEN student participation, and intercultural communication with migrant families. Her work highlights systemic improvements like leadership training for inclusive schools, resource allocation strategies, and policy bridging between theory and practice. Current focus includes pandemic-era accessibility challenges and community-based educational equity initiatives.
