YAGO ATRIO LEMA is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis, Faculty of Administration and Business Management, University of Santiago de Compostela. • Doctorate (2024) in Economic Analysis from the University of Santiago de Compostela.

His research explores how cultural factors influence economic decision-making, with a focus on tourism modeling and sustainable management of pilgrimage routes like the Camino de Santiago. He also investigates entrepreneurship dynamics during crises, such as the coronavirus pandemic.

Recent publications highlight trends in cultural tourism, predictive modeling for pilgrim flow management, and the interplay between regional mobility and public health. His work bridges economic theory with practical applications in tourism and entrepreneurship.

He collaborates with the Interuniversity Research Center in Economics and Business for Society (ECOBAS) and the VALFINAP research group on applied financial valuation.
