Halimeh Agh is a researcher and Head of the Division for Automotive Software Engineering (ASE) at the Institute of Software Engineering (ISTE), University of Stuttgart. She specializes in empirical software engineering, focusing on automotive software systems, AI integration, and testing methodologies. Her work bridges academic research with industry applications, particularly in autonomous vehicles and software process improvement. Her research interests encompass software testing, agile methods, and model-driven approaches to software process engineering. She collaborates with automotive industry partners like Bertrandt AG and Mercedes-Benz, emphasizing practical solutions for automotive software challenges. Current projects include the BMBF-funded AutoDevSafeOps initiative (adapting DevOps for automotive) and ICM SdMobi2-SWUpCar (developing upgradeable vehicle software). Her recent publications highlight advancements in software product line testing, redundant safety systems for autonomous vehicles, and model-driven process engineering frameworks. Halimeh advises graduate students on topics such as sensor fusion testing, embedded fuzzer optimization, and AI-driven test input generation. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates empirical studies with industry-driven solutions for automotive software reliability and safety.
