Stephanie Chitpin is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa , specializing in Educational Leadership . Her research challenges inductive methodology, advocating for Popperian critical rationalism through the Objective Knowledge Growth Framework (OKGF) . She has secured grants from the SSHRC and Ontario Ministry of Education , focusing on international leadership decision-making and neoliberal policy impacts. Research Interests: Decision-Making in Educational Leadership, Professional Development, Epistemology, Social Justice in Education, Neoliberal Policy Critique Books: Series Editor of Transforming Education Through Critical Leadership, Policy and Practice , author of Decision Making in Educational Leadership (2015), and memoir Keep My Memory Safe: Fook Soo Am, The Pagoda (2023) Scientific Awards: 2020 Faculty of Education Research Excellence Award Her 15 most recent publications (2015-2023) explore topics ranging from neoliberal restructuring to crisis leadership during the pandemic , consistently applying Popperian falsifiability criteria to educational contexts. She founded the Equitable Leadership Network and established the Ah Feeti Memorial Scholarship for racialized students. Supervising PhD student Olfa Karoui, she bridges academic theory with lived experiences, having earned her PhD in Popper's Philosophy from the University of Toronto in 2003.
