Kristina Engelhard is a Professor of Modern Philosophy at the University of Trier, School of Philosophy. Her research focuses on Kant and Hegel, metaphysics (particularly dispositional properties and natural laws), philosophy of science, epistemology, and history of early modern philosophy.
- Education: Magister Artium (University of Cologne, 1998), Ph.D. in Philosophy (University of Cologne, 2005).
- Research: Engages with Kant's transcendental philosophy, dispositionalism, inductive metaphysics, and cognitive capacities. Leads DFG projects on "Inductive Methods in Kant and Neo-Kantianism" and "Inductive Metaphysics."
- Scientific Awards: Recipient of the Offermann-Hergarten-Preis (2006).
