Dr. Kunsoo Han is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Academic Director of the Master of Management in Retailing (MMR) at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and BSc/MSc from KAIST. His research focuses on IT outsourcing, business value of IT, and digital economy dynamics. He teaches courses on systems analysis, project management, and digital economy principles. Dr. Han's research has been published in top journals like Information Systems Research , Management Science , and MIS Quarterly . He has received awards including the Bensadoun Faculty Scholar (2017–present) and multiple best paper recognitions. His work explores topics such as IT's role in cross-border acquisitions, software patent strategies, and green cloud computing.
