Daniel Hobbs is a Professor of Scenic, Projection, and Costume Design at Coastal Carolina University's Department of Theatre. He combines creative design with academic instruction, specializing in theatrical production aesthetics and technical execution. B.A. in Theatre from University of Northern Alabama M.F.A. in Theatre from Michigan State University With extensive regional credits across the U.S., he has designed for productions including Cinderella , The Student Prince , and L'Amant Anonyme . His professional affiliations include teaching roles at San Diego State University, University of South Florida, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, College of Wooster, and Ashland University. Current projects highlight his seventh season with the Ohio Light Opera as properties department head and scenic designer.
