Ainsley Anderson serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Production and Management within the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Ithaca College. She teaches core courses in the B.F.A. Theatre Production & Design program including Introduction to Technical Theatre, Production and Scenic Technology, Costume Technology, Advanced Costume Construction, and Projects in Costume Technology and Wardrobe Supervision.

Anderson's research focuses on practical theatre disciplines with emphasis on costume technology, millinery, and scenic construction. She integrates professional practice through active freelance work with organizations including Glimmerglass Opera Festival, The Hangar Theatre, Eric Winterling Inc., Bethany Joy Costumes Inc., and Lynne Mackey Studio. Her expertise bridges academic instruction with real-world theatre production techniques.
As Department Chair, she oversees academic operations while maintaining hands-on involvement in student productions at the McCarroll Studio Theatre. Her professional engagements demonstrate continuous industry collaboration beyond campus, enriching the curriculum with current industry standards.
