Dr. Sarah Cooper is an Assistant Professor of English at Colorado State University, specializing in Writing, Rhetoric, and Social Change. Her research focuses on intersections of feminist theory, queer studies, and disability studies. She holds a Ph.D. from Clemson University, an MFA in Poetry, and an MA from Purdue University. Education: Ph.D. Rhetoric, Communication, and Information Design (Clemson University); MFA Poetry (Converse University); MA Rhetoric, Composition and Literary Studies (Purdue University) Her work explores topics such as crip futurity, lesbian archives, and radical feminist movements. Recent publications include articles in Journal of Lesbian Studies and Journal of Multimodal Rhetorics . She has received the 2024 Friedman Feminist Press Grant and 2022 Tee A. Corrine Fellowship. Awards: Friedman Feminist Press Grant (2024), Tee A. Corrine Fellow (2022) Her scholarship and poetry reflect commitments to social justice and marginalized voices. Current projects include studies on country lesbians and nonmonogamy in feminist contexts.
