Juliet Wahleithner is an Associate Professor in the Literacy, Early, Bilingual, and Special Education Department at Fresno State. She serves as director of the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project and is a core faculty member in the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. Her roles include coordinating AAQEP and CTC accreditations for Fresno State’s Educator Preparation Programs. Prior to academia, she taught high school English/journalism and was an instructional coach in Lodi Unified. Her research underscores the importance of teacher inquiry, adaptive pedagogy, and data-driven approaches to improving writing instruction. Professional Contributions: Leads the San Joaquin Valley Writing Project, contributes to national teacher education initiatives, and evaluates programs like the California Academic Partnership Program. Her work bridges K-12 and higher education to address systemic literacy challenges.
