Sébastien Arcand is a Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal, specializing in socioprofessional integration of immigrants, ethnic social relations, entrepreneurial practices, and sport and society. His academic work focuses on diversity, inclusion, and multicultural organization management, with particular attention to immigrant experiences in the Quebec labor market. Appointed to the scientific committee of the FRQ–Society and Culture (2024) Joint holder of a research chair in Quebec (2024) Professor Arcand actively supervises doctoral and master's students, with a focus on immigrant integration, sports management, and diversity practices. His teaching portfolio includes courses on multicultural organizations, diversity management, and sports and society across multiple semesters through 2025. He has directed numerous student projects examining diversity implementation in organizations like Desjardins, Bombardier, and Décathlon Canada, as well as community-based sports initiatives.
