Edward Pomerantz is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Screenwriting at SUNY-Purchase 's School of Film and Media Studies. He is also the founder and director of the Harlem Dramatic Writing Workshop at Columbia University, dedicated to nurturing emerging playwrights and screenwriters. BA, City College of New York MFA, Yale School of Drama A multi-award-winning writer, Pomerantz has received two Writers Guild Awards and multiple international film festival honors. His work spans screenplays , plays , and teleplays , with a focus on creative thinking , urban narratives , and interdisciplinary collaboration . His recent works (2017) include the collected plays DANCING ON QUICKSAND and THREE ORIGINAL SCREENPLAYS.
