Nuwan Wijewardane is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University. His research focuses on soil and crop sensing, precision agriculture, and the application of machine learning and IoT technologies. He leads the Advanced Plant & Soil Sensing Laboratory, developing novel sensing tools for agricultural monitoring.
