Dr. Philipp Degens is Acting Professor of Sociology at the Department of Social Economics, University of Hamburg, since December 2023. His academic career spans roles as a Research Associate in the DFG-Kolleg Research Group "Futures of Sustainability" and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies.
