Carla Teixeira Lopes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP), and a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC). Her career spans academic and research roles, blending expertise in information retrieval with human-computer interaction to enhance digital accessibility.
