Thirimon Moe Byrne is a Research Fellow at the University of York , affiliated with the Health Services & Policy Research Group and the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group . Previously, she coordinated multi-centre trials and systematic reviews at the York Trials Unit (YTU) and Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD), funded by NIHR, NICE, and EU Horizon 2020. Her current work includes the AMICABLE and MEASURE projects. Master of Public Health (Health Services Research), University of Sheffield BMedSci (Hons) Nursing Studies , University of Sheffield Thirimon specializes in systematic reviews , scoping/rapid reviews , and Study Within A Trial (SWAT) methodologies. Her research spans neonatology , cancer , musculoskeletal conditions , mental health (general and prisoner populations), and multimedia in healthcare . She has coordinated EU-funded projects like EMPOWER and contributed to trials such as PROFHER-2 and RESPECT . Recent publications focus on decision-making tools for pediatric research participation , prisoner inclusion in study design , and logic models for older prisoner healthcare . Her 37 research outputs include peer-reviewed articles and reports. Thirimon is a member of the Cochrane Neonatal Review Group . She has expertise in recruiting participants for trials and exploring methodologies to improve healthcare delivery in both custodial and general health settings. Thirimon contributes to interdisciplinary teams including the Health Services & Policy Research Group and the Mental Health and Addiction Research Group , emphasizing collaboration with service users and policymakers.
