Youngho Kim is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the School of Earth and Oceans , University of Western Australia (UWA). He is affiliated with the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems (COFS) and the Oceans Graduate School. His research focuses on offshore foundation systems, soil-structure interactions, and advanced finite element modeling. Kim has collaborated extensively with Korean engineering companies and institutions, contributing to sustainable development goals (SDGs) in offshore engineering. Education: Doctor of Engineering, Yonsei University (2010) Postdoctoral Researcher, Construction Engineering Research Institute (CERI), Korea (2010–2011) Research Interests: Kim specializes in dynamically installed anchors, suction caissons, and geotechnical modeling. His work emphasizes large deformation analysis, soil-structure interactions, and offshore foundation design. His research bridges academic and industrial needs, addressing challenges in marine construction and environmental sustainability.
