Alastair Moore is a Lecturer (Education) at the School of Management, University College London (UCL). He holds a PhD in Computer Science from UCL and has 10 years of experience in AI/ML, UX design, marketplaces, mobile tech, and early-stage innovation. He co-founded UCL spin-outs Satalia.com and Wearepopup.com, and played a key role in establishing the IDEALondon innovation centre with Cisco and DC Thomson. His current projects focus on 5G-enabled business models, Big Data support for SMEs, and smart city platforms using Semantic Web technology.
