Dr. Carla Sofia Xavier Gomes Luís serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Literature at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), where she also operates as Researcher within PRAXIS - Center for Philosophy, Politics, and Culture, and LabCom - Communication and Arts. She holds a PhD in Literature from UBI, Master's in Portuguese Language, Culture, and Didactics, and a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese and English Teaching from UTAD. PhD in Literature, UBI Master's in Portuguese Language, Culture, and Didactics, UBI Bachelor's in Portuguese and English Teaching, UTAD Her research focuses on Contemporary Portuguese Literature , Lusophone Cultures , Literary Stylistics , and Cultural Studies . She has extensively analyzed Miguel Real's works, examining Jewish representations, Fatima symbolism, biographical writing, and Portuguese cultural identity. Her recent publications explore intersections between Portuguese literary production and broader cultural discourses, including postcolonial narratives, language policy, and historiographic fiction. Articles show trends in analyzing Lusophone identity formation , intercultural representation , and philosophical dimensions in literature .
