Dr. Zhi 'Albert' Li is a Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at RMIT University's School of Engineering, specifically within the Centre for Innovative Structures and Materials (CISM). He holds a Ph.D. from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from Tianjin University. His research focuses on topology optimization, computational design, and advanced manufacturing techniques, with particular emphasis on integrating subjective preferences and extended reality (XR) into structural design processes.
