Professor Ainurul Rosli is an Honorary Professor at Brunel Business School, within the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences at Brunel University London. She serves as Director of Business Engagement and Programme Director of the Help to Grow Management programme, reflecting her deep commitment to university-industry-community collaboration. With prior academic roles at the University of Westminster, University of Wolverhampton, and Birkbeck, University of London, she brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship education and research. Her educational background includes a PhD from Birkbeck, University of London (2013), an MSc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Bachelor in Financial Engineering (Hons) from Multimedia University, Malaysia. She also has professional experience in entrepreneurship consulting and R&D in the telecommunications sector in Malaysia. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial team learning, university-industry collaboration, co-creation, social entrepreneurship, and the measurement of social impact. She is a strong advocate of engaged scholarship, aiming to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world application. Her work emphasizes building resilient, locally rooted entrepreneurial ecosystems and supporting marginalized communities through innovative, collaborative approaches. The recent publications highlight a consistent trajectory in studying knowledge co-creation, boundary-spanning in collaborations, legitimacy in hybrid organizations, and the long-term impact of academic engagement. Themes such as affective evaluation, exaptation in digital ecosystems, and barefoot institutional entrepreneurship reflect a nuanced understanding of both cognitive and emotional dimensions in innovation and social ventures. The interdisciplinary nature of her work spans management, entrepreneurship, social policy, and technology innovation.
