Grigorios Theodosopoulos is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Accounting and Finance at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London, where he has been a faculty member since 2012. He leads the Business Accounting Division and is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Research Group. He holds a PhD and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Certified Management & Business Educator by the Chartered Association of Business Schools. He is actively involved in academic leadership, curriculum development, and external examiner roles at institutions including Cranfield University and the University of Hertfordshire. His research focuses on accounting for business models , sustainability in accounting , disruptive technologies (including blockchain), forensic accounting , and accounting education . He has published in leading journals such as Critical Perspectives on Accounting , Meditari Accountancy Research , and Journal of Business Research . His work often bridges practice and theory, particularly in the context of voluntary and healthcare sectors. The recent articles highlight a strong trend in sustainability reporting, blockchain adoption in auditing, financial literacy in cryptocurrency investment, and pedagogical innovation in accounting education. His publications reflect a consistent focus on real-world applications, educational impact, and technological transformation in accounting. He has also provided oversight for programme design across various colleges, demonstrating cross-disciplinary engagement. He is actively involved in advancing pedagogy through research and has served as an external examiner at several universities, contributing to quality assurance in higher education.
