Professor Joan Heminway is a faculty member at the University of Tennessee College of Law, holding the rank of Professor. She specializes in corporate law, securities regulation, and emerging technologies like blockchain. Her research explores ESG compliance, legal frameworks for digital assets, and corporate governance innovations. She has served as Interim Director of the Institute for Professional Leadership (2020–2023) and currently chairs the Student Professional Development Committee.
