Mustafa Nourallah serves as Senior Lecturer in Business Administration at Mid Sweden University, affiliated with the Department of Economics, Geography, Law and Tourism (EJT) and the Center for Research on Economic Relations (CER). He earned his PhD in Business Administration from Mid Sweden University in 2023 following a Licentiate degree in 2020, after beginning PhD studies in 2017.
His research focuses on Financial Technology (FinTech) applications in household finance, particularly examining how digital tools enhance personal finance management while advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals. Nourallah employs interdisciplinary frameworks combining finance, information technology, and cognitive sciences to investigate technology adoption drivers, with recent work analyzing EU financial technology usage, robo-advisor trust mechanisms, and mobile banking loyalty among young consumers. His methodological approach integrates behavioral finance principles with Amartya Sen's capability approach.
Nourallah's publication trend reveals a concentrated focus on European financial technology adoption (2022-2024), with recurring themes in robo-advisor trust formation (6 publications), mobile banking (5 publications), and EU policy implications (4 publications). His research demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between financial capability metrics and technological solutions.
