Dr. Julia Lukassek is a postdoctoral researcher in Project C04 'Register knowledge in advanced learner language' of the CRC 1412 at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her research focuses on register variation in learner language, combining corpus-driven methods with manual annotation. She investigates how learners master functional aspects of language use while exploring interactions between lexical semantics and syntactic structures. Education: PhD in Germanic Linguistics (2020, Tübingen University) State exams in German and Theology (2011/2012, Tübingen University) Research Interests: Register studies, morphological annotation, narrative discourse, learner language analysis, and dynamic lexical semantics. Methodologically, she employs corpus linguistics and experimental approaches. Key Publications: Contributed to seminal works on register situational aspects (Frontiers in Psychology 2023), Falko Learner Corpus annotation (REALIS 2023), and intra-individual variation in L1 German writing (Frontiers in Psychology 2021).
