Thierry Weil is a Professor of Economics at the CERNA (Centre d’économie industrielle) within MINES ParisTech - PSL. He holds a PhD in Solid-State Physics and has held multiple roles in academia, government, and industry. His research focuses on innovation management, industrial economics, and technology policy. He led the FutuRIS prospective study on France’s research and innovation system, advised the Prime Minister’s cabinet on technology and IP policy, and contributed to the creation of the Fabrique de l'Industrie think tank.
