Christoffel Kuenen is an Associate Professor at the Umeå Institute of Design (UID), part of Umeå University. He serves as Deputy Program Director for the MFA Programme in Interaction Design and contributes to teaching across UID's programs. His research focuses on the aesthetics of interaction in digital systems, exploring how design mediates human-technology relationships. He holds a PhD from UID (2018) after a decade in industry roles including leading R&D in multinational companies.
