Diego Varela Pedreira is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, International Relations and European Studies at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iași, Romania. He is habilitated to supervise doctoral research and holds a Jean Monnet Chair in European Political Economy. He has served as a visiting professor at several institutions, including Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, the National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest, and Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava.
