Michael Macartney is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Wollongong's Graduate School of Medicine. His research focuses on medical physiology, sport and exercise science, with particular emphasis on performance nutrition and omega-3 fatty acids' effects on cardiorespiratory, skeletal muscle, and neural physiology. He previously coordinated Phase 1 medicine at UNSW's School of Clinical Medicine.
