Rachael (Ré) A Mansbach is an Assistant Professor and Tier II Canada Research Chair in Computational Biophysics at Concordia University's Department of Physics. Her research focuses on computational biophysics, statistical physics, and molecular dynamics simulations applied to drug design and biomaterials. She leads the Mansbach Lab Group, collaborating with institutions such as Northeastern University and Concordia’s Zazubovits and Gauthier Labs. Research interests include antimicrobial peptide design to combat antibiotic resistance, structural studies of disulfide-rich toxins, multi-scale modeling of mucin proteins for hydrogel development, and applications of network theory in medical imaging and deep learning.
