Dr. Ekram Hossain is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba, serving as Associate Chair (Graduate Studies). He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the Engineering Institute of Canada, and an IEEE Fellow (2015). His research focuses on wireless communication networks, AI-driven 6G systems, and resource management. He leads the WiCoNS research group and holds editorial roles in top journals like IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.
