Weiyi Meng is a SUNY Distinguished Service Professor and Director of the School of Computing at Binghamton University, part of the State University of New York (SUNY). He has been a faculty member since 1992, following his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research focuses on metasearch engines, web database integration, sentiment analysis, and information retrieval. He leads the Database Laboratory and has held roles such as Interim Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies in the Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science.
