Masha Krupenkin is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at Boston College. She holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and an A.B. from Princeton University. Her research integrates computational social science methodologies to study political behavior, racial/ethnic politics, and media influence, with a focus on immigrant attitudes and inequality in the U.S. Her work examines how digital footprints (e.g., web search data) reveal societal trends in discrimination, partisan behavior, and crisis response. Key interests include computational analysis of media narratives, the impact of anti-immigrant rhetoric, and the intersection of race and political decision-making.
